The Technical Product Owner (Data), is a key role that sits within Systems and I.T team and holds ‘on the ground’ responsibility for the scope of what is delivered in relation to the evolution of data solutions , technical governance and processes. The role is a key interface between technology and the business and needs to engage effectively with stakeholders in both areas to best deliver functional business outcomes.
You’ll be someone who enjoys making things happen and consider stakeholder management one of your strengths, with the ability to effectively engage with both business and technical stakeholders. You like to be an empowered decision maker, able to prioritise, and can quickly establish where time needs to be invested to drive business value, providing cost effective solutions to the business in line with the overarching strategy. The Data technical product owner is empowered to make decisions related to data solution architecture in conjunction with key business and technical stakeholders. The role is responsible for driving the priority, scope and requirements for ITS data solutions and data related issues on operational systems. The Technical Product Owner will ensure they are clear on data related customer needs ensuring a continuous flow of value from the systems team and external vendors engaged to support data related deliveries.
