ITS Connects Businesses with Faster Broadband in Rural Wales
ITS, one of the fastest growing broadband providers in the UK has recently completed a major highspeed internet network upgrade.
The upgrade consisted of a new resilient fibre network, spanning 92 miles across Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey and Powys.
400 existing residential and business customers across some of the most remote Welsh locations can now access increased internet speeds. New customers can also experience superfast and ultrafast broadband speeds from 25Mbps up to 1Gbps.
With quicker and more dependable internet connections, businesses can take advantage of many services that can assist with saving money and improving productivity. Services such as telephone calls via the internet (VoIP or hosted telephony), Office 365 allowing you to work from any device anywhere, cloud storage, desktop video conferencing, secure Virtual Private Networks (VPN), CCTV and faster data backups.
“We are delighted that we could deliver a network to some of the most rural communities in Wales.
“Some larger connectivity providers wont even attempt to tackle rural landscapes like these, which enables us to stand out as a company in the telecommunications sector – by providing the best services we can, to customers no matter where they are in the UK.
“A lot of people in towns and cities take internet connection for granted and expect it to be available when needed. Whereas people living in rural Wales, this is an exciting time for them as we have transformed their internet connections.
“It’s great that we can support residents of these areas, but also enable businesses to work faster and smarter to give the region a real boost.”
Pip Hallewell, ITS Business Development Manager for the region
