Sustainability

We only have one earth, and it’s important we take care of it wherever we can. At ITS, sustainability is at the forefront of what we do, and all of our decisions are made with sustainability in mind.

Digitisation by default has a range of sustainability benefits. Increased connectivity means an increased uptake in hybrid working and work-from-home models for a range of industries, which means fewer people driving to work every day. In addition, sustainability infrastructure such as EV infrastructure, flood warning systems, IoT connectivity and other green technologies can be implemented to help protect our world. Increased digitisation also allows for more reliable experiences on public transport, online learning resources and even telehealth provisions!

In addition, at ITS, we’re passionate about making our work as environmentally conscious as possible, reducing disruption and recycling wherever possible. We pioneered the use of public sector assets such as CCTV ducts, tram lines and other existing infrastructure to deliver full fibre connectivity.
