April Update from the CEO

We have carved out a distinct role in building both metro and rural full fibre networks to equip businesses and communities with super and ultrafast connectivity.

Earlier this month, INCA and Point Topic released a report that revealed how the alnet (alternative network) community is growing the UK’s full fibre footprint at pace with more than 1 million premises passed already. We are proud to play an important role in this and have carved out a distinct role in building both metro and rural networks to equip businesses and communities with full fibre connectivity.

Our business is underpinned with a reliable superfast digital infrastructure that our customers can depend on. We have a programme of maintenance and upgrade works that are progressing well, and feedback from our customers is very positive. We will share more of these experiences in future newsletters.

Read about our preparations for GDPR, as well as our involvement in delivering the government’s recently expanded Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme. This is available across our metro networks in Bristol, Hammersmith and Fulham, Herefordshire and Nottingham. There are also schemes across our rural networks that are helping communities and businesses to subsidise the cost of installing our superfast connectivity.
